The Barrhead is a unique and beautiful dining and shopping establishment just outside of Markdale. A building with a historical past that includes a grist mill in the 1860's to a Inn for skiers, it now offers comfort food, beer, wine and items to purchase in the retail market.
In the winter you can enjoy indoor dining by one of our two fireplaces and perhaps have a view of our property waterfall. In the summer enjoy outdoor dining under mature trees while listening to the rushing waters from the waterfall that once powered the mill.
