Grey County Tourism hosted a session lead by TIAC's (Tourism Industry Assoc. of Canada) Grace Xin on 'Meeting the Travel Needs of the Asian Market'.  The session was at The Falls Inn on the am of March 23, 2018 and brought 35 local tourism businesses out who were all interested in working with this market.
The session was extremely informative, it educated the attendees on cultural differences, travel needs and norms, trends when vacationing and what they look for when they are visiting a destination.  Grace, being the Canada-China Inbound representative for Canada, had practical examples and could relate it to her experience. Travis Nixon with The Westin Trillium House reported on the International work that Blue Mountain Resort has been doing in China and the changes that have been made on resort and within their hotel to meet travel needs of this market.
